Outreach Programs
Are you an educator looking for a hands-on classroom activity or an opportunity to get students outside in an active learning environment? We are here to help! Our Preserve Manager or volunteers will happily travel to your classroom to conduct hands-on learning presentations. For those not in the Southern California area we are offer the option to Skype with a scientist! Our programs cover a variety of topics from tortoise biology and ecology to conservation of our desert ecosystems. These free outreach programs can be tailored to all ages and classroom sizes. We will happily work with you to tailor a program to fit your needs, including field trip arrangements to the DTRNA.
